Aksanlabs Inc ("Aksanlabs Inc") is a managed IT service provider that builds and operates custom software platforms for small business clients. This page describes how consent is collected for the SMS messages Aksanlabs Inc sends in connection with those platforms.

Who receives these messages

SMS messages from Aksanlabs Inc are sent only to the business owners who contract with Aksanlabs Inc to build and operate their platform. These messages are not sent to the end customers of those businesses.

What messages are sent

One-time passcodes for admin dashboard login and multi-factor authentication
Action-required alerts about the client's own platform (for example, a new lead, booking, or approval awaiting review)

How consent is collected

Consent is collected through a standalone SMS opt-in — separate from any service agreement or other contract. Each business owner provides their mobile number and affirmatively checks a dedicated SMS consent box before any SMS is sent. You can view and use the live opt-in flow at aksanlabs.com/sms-signup. The consent language on that page reads:

"I consent to receive SMS text messages from Aksanlabs Inc, including one-time login verification codes and account/platform alerts, at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for assistance. Agreeing to receive messages is optional and not required to submit this form."
